Terms of service content
In plain English
- Refund — course content is non-refundable once you access it (you consent to this at checkout); before access, the 14-day EU withdrawal right applies. Standalone sessions: cancel before the session for a manual refund. Bundled sessions are non-refundable.
- Content — your course notes and exercises are yours to keep and reference as long as your account is active; we retain ownership of the content itself.
- Jurisdiction — these terms are governed by Estonian law and disputes are resolved in the courts of Estonia.
- Disputes — email hoang@edlintics.com first; most issues are resolved within 48 hours without any formal process.
Acceptance of terms
By purchasing a course, booking a tutoring session, or otherwise using Edlintics, you agree to be bound by these terms of service. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform. These terms apply each time you access Edlintics and govern every transaction between you and Edlintics.
What you're buying
Course access
A €99 course gives you lifetime access to:
- Documentation-style written notes covering the subject in exam-ready depth.
- A set of exercises targeted at the exam formats used at top European business schools.
A live 60-minute screen-share session is not included in the €99 course by default. You can add one as a bundle at checkout (course + session, €119) or book a standalone session separately (€45). During a session you share your screen, drive the work, and the tutor observes and corrects in real time.
Independence notice: Edlintics is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any university or institution. Any university or exam names are used solely as factual descriptors of the academic context for which the content is designed.
"Lifetime access" means for as long as Edlintics operates and your account remains in good standing. It does not guarantee a specific technology platform or delivery format, which may change as the product evolves.
1:1 tutoring session
A standalone 1:1 session (€45/hour) gives you one Zoom session of the booked length. You share your screen, the tutor observes, and you work through the material you have prepared. No notes or exercises are included — this is dedicated tutor time only.
Pricing & payment
All prices are listed in euros (EUR). Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. on behalf of Edlintics. Where required by EU law, value-added tax (VAT) is calculated and collected at checkout using Stripe Tax. The VAT rate applied depends on your country of residence.
Edlintics does not store your payment card details. All card data is handled directly by Stripe, which is a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor.
Refund policy
Course content. A course is digital content supplied immediately. Under EU consumer law (the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, as transposed into Estonian law), you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal — but at checkout you may consent to immediate access and acknowledge that you lose that right once access to the course begins (Article 16(m)). Once you have accessed any course material, the course is non-refundable. If you have not yet accessed the course and are within 14 days of purchase, email hoang@edlintics.com and we will refund it to your original payment method.
Bundled session. The live session included in a course + session bundle (€119) is claim-only and non-refundable. You may book it at any time, but its value is not separately refundable.
Standalone sessions.If you cancel a standalone 1:1 or group session before it takes place, email hoang@edlintics.com; eligible cancellations are reviewed and refunded manually to your original payment method. A session that has already taken place cannot be refunded, because the tutor's time cannot be returned.
Account responsibilities
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials private. Do not share your password or grant access to your account to any other person. One account per person — accounts are non-transferable and may not be shared.
If you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation, notify us immediately at hoang@edlintics.com.
Content ownership
Edlintics retains full ownership of all course content, including but not limited to the written notes, exercises, templates, and session materials. When you purchase a course, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the content for your own private study for as long as your account is active.
You may not:
- redistribute the notes or exercises to any other person, in any format;
- share your account credentials to give others access to the content;
- use the content commercially, including selling, licensing, or incorporating it into paid products or services.
Acceptable use
When using Edlintics, you agree not to:
- attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the platform;
- abuse rate limits or attempt automated access to the platform beyond what is technically necessary for normal use;
- impersonate another student, the tutor, or any member of staff;
- use the platform in any way that violates applicable Estonian or EU law, including data protection regulations.
Termination
Edlintics may suspend or terminate your account for a material breach of these terms, including but not limited to content redistribution, account sharing, or abuse of the platform.
If termination is caused by your misconduct, no refund will be issued. If Edlintics terminates your account for reasons unrelated to any misconduct on your part (for example, due to a business decision to close a course), you will receive a refund of the unused portion of your purchase, calculated on a fair and reasonable basis.
Liability
Edlintics' liability to you in connection with any course or session is limited to the amount you paid for that specific course or session. Edlintics is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including but not limited to exam results, course outcomes, or lost time.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be resolved in the competent courts of Estonia, unless your local consumer protection law requires disputes to be resolved in the courts of your own country of residence.
Changes to terms
Edlintics may update these terms from time to time. For significant changes, we will notify you by email at the address associated with your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Edlintics after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Minor changes (such as corrections to wording or updates to contact details) may be made without prior notice. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
